Meet Chloë
As a former teacher and staff nurse, I am now drawing on those strengths in my work as a transformational life coach. I am based on the Kent/Sussex border working with clients online. Geography is, therefore, no barrier and I have worked with clients worldwide. I have been so inspired by my clients, seeing them grow in confidence and hope for the future.
In my down time, I enjoy volunteering, and love to spend time with family and friends where you will often find me immersed in nature or enjoying all things creative.
My Coaching Story
My interest in promoting and maintaining positive mental health and developing resilience began with my own journey through some very tough times, coaching and therapy. Some years later, following a conversation with my inspiring therapist I stumbled upon the Animas Centre for Coaching and haven't looked back since.
Having become increasingly aware of the importance and impact of mental health on our wellbeing and ability to thrive over recent years, especially as a result of the pandemic, I decided to embark on a new adventure as a life coach and therapist.
I am passionate about seeing people overcome obstacles, reach their potential, and experience fulfilment by breaking down what might feel overwhelming into smaller, manageable steps. I have seen first hand how, if we are willing to embrace change, it can transform lives.
As well as studying for a diploma in Transformational Life Coaching through Animas, I have gone on to study Transactional Analysis, and I am training as a counsellor.
I use my coaching skills in volunteer roles as well as seeing clients privately online.
“Chloë’s ability to hear what I was saying, to identify the issues, to ask questions that got to the nub of the issue then help me to think through what a desired outcome might be and how to achieve it, was invaluable.”

My Background
I started off my working life as a Primary Teacher; this gave me a wide variety of experiences with different ages of children, management, and opportunities to be very creative and messy!
I was then fortunate to spend a wonderful year in East Africa working with orphans and street kids and making long-lasting friends with locals and international expats.
On my return, I worked at a local hospital specialising in palliative care, mental health and chronic illnesses before training as a nurse. Once qualified, I worked in Burns and Wound Care at the fantastic Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. After a back injury, which sadly meant I had to leave nursing, I spent some time working with a small Christian charity as a Solution Focused Mentor to teenagers, as well as helping to run wellbeing and resilience workshops for both children and adults under 25.
I believe that all these life experiences, added to my training, have been massively helpful in increasing my own self-awareness as well as supporting my coaching work in an insightful and empathic way.
“The work on core values became key to working through areas in my life where there was incongruence with these values.”
